I had the honor and privilege of attending the HollyRod Foundation’s 17th annual gala held here in Los Angeles this past weekend. It is always an emotional and inspiring evening filled with uplifting stories and messages of HOPE. This year was no exception.
This year’s event had a number of honorees; the two stand outs being Dillan Barmarche and Vincente King – both young men with autism finding ways to move forward in this world and live thriving lives.
I was also very touched by the 2015 HollyRod Corporate Compassion Award recipient, Jessica Herrin. As founder & CEO of Stella & Dot, Jessica promotes Autism Awareness with a number of jewelry pieces and items; 20% of proceeds going to the HollyRod Foundation during April (autism awareness month). I proudly wear my visionary bracelet and have gifted them to a few friends as well.
Holly Robinson Peete : I admire you and continue to be inspired by the work you do! Thank you for giving fellow autism Mamas like myself a face and voice that we can relate to and look up to. Much LOVE, Susanna Peace Lovell
